NEW BOARD OFFICERS - NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Jim Gallup, President of Golden Steel & Recycling, will serve as the 2009 Big Sky Economic Development Authority [EDA] Chairman of the Board; Pat Kimmet, CHS Laurel Refinery Manager, as Vice Chair; Greg Kohn, Secretary/Treasure; and Ted White, Regional Vice President, Bresnan Communications as Past Chair.The Yellowstone County Commissioners have appointed additional EDA board members: Ty Elkin, Senior Vice President, Yellowstone Bank; Jon Ness, Chief Operating Officer, Billings Clinic; John Roberts, Vice President, Commercial Sales, Payne Financial Group/Hoiness LaBar Insurance; and Ed Workman, Prudential Floberg Real Estate, to serve five year terms.
The corporate members of Big Sky Economic Development Corporation [EDC] have voted Walt Furlong,Strategy & Business Development, St. Vincent Healthcare; Rick Leuthold, President, Sanderson Stewart;Duncan Peete, Attorney, Moulton Bellingham PC; and Debbie Singer, Manager, Community Relations, NorthWestern Energy, to serve a five year term on the EDC board.
Steve Nitz, President of Executive Properties will serve as the 2009 EDC Board Chair; Rick Reid, Region Manager Montana-Dakota Utilities, Vice Chair;
Jim Walker, President, Western Security Bank as Secretary/Treasure; and Todd Sherman, Vice President,
